The Badminton World Federation (BWF) is pleased to announce the final list of badminton qualifiers for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. A total of 87 male and 86 female players representing 50 National Olympic Committees (NOCs) from the five Continental Confederations have been selected.
Minions Pull Out After Sukamuljo Tests Positive
World No.1 pair Marcus Fernaldi Gideon and Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo pulled out of the Asian Leg of the HSBC BWF World Tour after Sukamuljo tested positive for Covid-19. No positive tests have been recorded so far for players who were tested on arrival and who are currently in quarantine.
